We often state that venous ulcers are the most common wound type in wound centers in the USA. We tend to aggregate data under the heading of a VLU when determining healing rates, healing trajectories, and recidivism. But are the patients in this combined group really the same? Do we need to have venous reflux to have venous disease? Are there groups of patients that fall into different venous categories based on venous hemodynamics? If the answer to any of the prior questions reveals there are subgroups of venous patients, then why should we expect a single therapeutic approach would work for all of them? These provocative questions and more will be explored in our FREE live webinar on October 15, 2024, at 5:30 pm CST! 🕠We’ll dive into the complexities of venous ulcers, whether a single therapeutic approach works for all, and how venous disease might be more diverse than we think. Come with an open mind and your questions!
