We tend to aggregate data under the heading of a VLU when determining healing rates, healing trajectories, and recidivism. But are the patients in this combined group really the same? Do we need to have venous reflux to have venous disease? Are there groups of patients that fall into different venous categories based on venous hemodynamics?
